Research conducted by St John Ambulance identified that approximately 140,000 people die from injuries and sudden illnesses each year who could have had a chance of survival if they had experienced immediate and effective first aid.

This coupled with the ever-increasing strain on NHS resources means it’s more important than ever that the public should be both trained and confident in the delivery of basic life-saving techniques, buying time until the emergency services arrive.

First aid courses can be a daunting prospect, even for adults, so at Entrust we realise that for children the topic can be overwhelming. As such, we are proud to offer a specially designed Mini-Medics course. This bright and colourful course is aimed at ages 8-11 years old but can be tailored to any primary school year group. Interactive, jargon-free and practical Mini-Medics will instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured and give the children vital life skills that they can take with them throughout their educational and employment careers while simultaneously fulfilling the curriculum requirements for individual school and education establishments.

Bespoke training

We also offer bespoke courses both at our training venue and at your place of work, as well as specialist training courses for outdoor/high risk environments. Please call for details or to discuss your requirements.
