Base Camp

Base Camp is an exciting new way for your pupils to experience a night under the stars and all the adventure that comes with such an experience - all in the safety of the familiar surroundings of your school grounds.

Our expedition leaders will spend a full two days and one night with you and your pupils; challenging them to learn new skills, develop their confidence and discover the real meaning of adventure. This immersive experience, with authentic expedition kit and real-life explorers at the helm, offers an excellent supplement and a particularly good progression route to your outdoor education programmes.

Your pupils will have the chance to learn a wide range of skills including:

• First aid in the outdoors
• Countryside Code
• Shelter building
• Navigation
• Team building and communication
• How to use outdoor equipment.
